Training providers FAST has a list of approved training partners who work closely with us in providing skill training and courses for the FDWs. APPLICATION FORM FOR NEW TRAINING PARTNERS FAST focus on developing skills of FDWs through training and developmental courses. The aim is to enhance the well-being of the FDWs. We welcome training providers to offer their services which will benefit the FDWs. If you wish to register as our training partner, please fill in the Application Form FAST which aim to promote skills training for foreign domestic workers (FDWs), conducts cookery courses such as Chinese Cooking, Variety Cooking, International Cooking and Baking at various community clubs. FAST works towards providing a wider range of courses at other Community Centres too. Locally, GMC manages a training centre specialised in Housekeeping Services which is led by staffs with intensive housekeeping experience of more than 20 years. In addition, GMC also manages a training centre in Yangon, Myanmar that specialized in conducting training programmes for potential candidates who wish to work as foreign domestic workers in Singapore. The conducted training programmes include getting around Singapore, importance of personal hygiene, the right working attitude as well as English literacy courses. To further enhance their learning, GMC also conducts a 3 days in-house domestic household training for newly arrived foreign domestic workers to equip them with the skills and knowledge in working for a domestic household set-up thus preparing them for their employment in Singapore.
